My ATP GT3076R with a 3" inlet was a pain. Had to modify the uppipe so the inlet aligned properly with the turbo. Also you will have to remove the TGV motors.
Shove the 3" turbo inlet in. Se where the turbo sits and adjust. It's not fun. If you haven't done this. Just go rotated. |

My AMR inlet was dimpled for the power steering if that's what you mean? I think the problem lies with the header/uppipe. That's the only variable that can change between setups. That's why you see some people saying there turbo inlet fit perfectly and others say its impossible. No way could I have gotten the turbo inlet on and secured without modifying the uppipe (moved turbo half an inch towards the driver side).
As long as they look at it in a way that they will have to modify things it will work. If they look at the product and say it should fit but doesn't it will never fit. It might be pricey to make it fit though. Hence rotated. Do the math, see where it gets you. Usually stock location turbo's sale for more then a rotated turbo, even if its a worse performer. Its the convenience factor. |

A better question then is what header and uppipe seem to be no problem with 3 inch green? I have a new agency power headers and invidia up, maybe some feedback as to what headers and up will work? I'm trying to figure how much going rotated is gonna cost and I'm really not liking that lol

Did you try loosening up the header/up bolts and turbo brackets so it could have a little movement to it? and maybe try removing the power steering pump/dropping the alternator to have a little more movement on the inlet side.
