Horrible. I hope you get your dogs back - that's like having a family member kidnapped.

I also hope the thieves die from pancreatic cancer.

This is so sad. I'm going to spread the word to some people who I know deal with dogs. I hope you get them back.

I live on the East Hill area, what part in particular do you live in? I'll keep a look out, be sure to scan craigslist!
This is an ongoing problem in recent years. Pets are being stolen because they are worth a lot of money (pure breds, anyway). It's the ultimate douche move.

Take my electronics, hell take my car, break into my house. Don't take my ****ing family members you cockroach.

Damn man, that's terrible! I can't imagine how I'd feel if I came home and my pup was gone! I'll keep my eyes/ears peeled, and spread word when I'm at the dog parks. Hope you get them back!

I know Salem is a long ways away but I've got a bleeding heart for animals and I couldn't imagine if someone stole either of my chocolate labs-I'm gonna post this on my Facebook as well.

I just told my wife about this... she is livid. She thinks it might be someone you know or knew in the past. Someone the dogs already trust. Anyone suddenly dodging you?

Big THANKS to everyone who has posted this on their facebooks and even their websites. We are still at a loss of any info but we're hopeful!

I know this is off subject but we need alarms. Anyone have any suggestions? We'd like a local company as we've heard it's s much faster response when they're local.

I don't think that's necessarily true. We use ADT and they respond within seconds every single time my dumb ass sets the thing off. If they can't reach us at home, they call our cell phones. 2X we were not reachable and they sent police and fire both times.

Great news. My heart sank cause I thought the same thing a few others did that someone stole our underwear. Did they catch the person or someone just found the dog?

Animal control called and told me a boxer was found a block down the road and he said she wasn't home yet but he showed me the house and she popped up in the window and I just lost it and said yes that's her! The lady will be home at 330. This is going to be the longest 4.5 hrs of my life!

also, you should be going door to door with a picture of the little one and your phone number (assuming you're not, but I'm sure you are). Telling people to call if they see him. If Peyton was running around just a block away, the little is too.

Great news about Peyton, hopefully soon you find the little one.

really makes me think about keeping the collar on our dog all the time, when we're not at home.

also, ADT is a pretty good alarm company. since you were asking.

I hope the little guy is just running around but like I said he was in his kennel. They would have had to spend the time to unlock both locks on his kennel just to let him roam? I'm thinking Peyton was thankfully able to get away from the thieves and took off running. The lady that found her said she was super skiddish and wouldn't comets her. The lady's 7 year old daughter came out though and Peyton ran to her and started licking her to death lol.

Thanks again everyone for everything! So ADT huh? Anyone other options anyone?

I would get one that has a camera that you can set so every time a sensor is tripped it will record and send alerts to your phones so you can view the video/pics.
