Default Ordered my Keyport check it out! :D

so im not sure if anyone has posted a thread on here about Keyports, but yeah i got mine a couple weeks ago and so far im loving it! check them out at " mykeyport.com "

my new Keys

not big at all

how it comes

it has 6 spots for different inserts and/or keys to put into it, and if you got a chipped car they can custom make a key for you!

That looks very interesting. Can you post a picture of it in the ignition of your car? I'm curious on how it would look and if it will be in the way of anything. Thanks for the link & post I'm probably going to buy a few of those it seems more logical to carry instead of the normal keys that have the teeth exposed.

Would be nice if they offered a taser instead of the LED.

Haha I'll post a pic tomorrow, but yeah I can tell you that I've had it for almost a month now and i love it! it's always a topic when I go out to food somewhere cause it is on the table when I'm eating! Hasn't broken at all yet, it's very solid, plus if you lose it , and someone finds it there is a " reward if found " code right on the side ! So atleast there is hope that someone cool will return your keys ( especially with your expensive FOB )

And no it doesn't get in the way of anything, I'll post a video tomorrow for you to see how it works!

Dude I don't remember the last time I used the keyhole on my car, I believe that's what keyless entry is for, I was referring to my house / room key

Neat idea, but its unfortunate for car's that require an immobilizer chip.

Two questions:

1) How does this work for those of us with a chipped key?
2) Do you still need to cary around your keyless entry fob as well?

1) you send them your key when you order you keyport and they replicate the chip ( pretty simple )

2) yeah what I do with my FOB is just have the keyport and fob but I have the fob mounted higher on my keychain so it's flush ( I'll attach pic when I get home in 20 minutes )

thing is holding up awesome use it everyday all the time! only problem i have had was when i put it in the door to my room and swung the door open ( to walk past it ) but then there was something bouncy behind the door and it only opened maybe 2 feet and swung back at me. my hip then hit the keyport and with the forward motion of my body combined with the door swinging backwards and it being a lateral movement, i bent my room key about 45 degrees. ( had to spend three bucks and order a new insert key for my room ) other than that the thing works awesome and everyone is always super pumped to play with it. also the memory card insert is a freaking life saver! i cant count how many times everyone is freaking out for a group project or club project and cant find a thumb drive. but i always have mine in my pocket! i got the 4 GB version of it and it is just awesome! overall after over a year of use and countless times being used i would give it a 8/10 for functionality 10/10 for being the coolest gadget in my pocket and 9/10 for durability ( only because i broke that one key one time )

Hope this helps guys!
