97 impreza 5 speed axles

I have a 97 impreza, and a 97 legacy parts car. I already have the rear end outta the legacy and I need a front axle in my impreza. Can I use a rear axle out of the rear of my legacy for the front of my impreza?

Do they match in ANY way to the front axles... Cause usually no, you can't...
