update 10/28/2012:

Put in some work today made a few mistakes which will cost me some time ugh.

Turns out when you pull the tranny before breaking loose the bolt on the axels they spin and stay stuck to the hub. dammit.

Tie rod end link wont let go of that hub got pissed and left it alone for now....

only wires left are the speaker wires in the rear i pulled the whole harness into the trunk.

hopefully clip will be here middle of the week but wont get to play until saturday

AB

Put a breaker bar on the hub between the lugs to hold it in placewhile you remove the axles.

Update 11/04/2012

Did some more work today old front sub frame and hubs are off and in the junk pile
put my spoiler on the trunk safest place for it to be.

Ran some of the engine harness into the black car as well as hood latch cable and the AC core and radiator.

Looks like first unplanned issue arising. The wiper linkage came out no problem except the point to mount it on the black car is solid so ill need to get a tap and die set.

need some extra space my room looks like a JDM warehouse

the bad news i was attacking the rear subframe and (a) my fuel filler neck is rotted hard core and (b) I currently dont know how to get the rear subframe out without being a hack. any suggestions my rear brake lines are rusted to death.

Doing my rear brake conversion, I came upon the same issue. A friend brought some stuff over from work, similar to pb blast, it's some green stuff, Idk the name off my head, but it worked wonders, besides just cleaning surface rust, it prevents future rust.

Supreme jealousy going on over here people! Seriously, love the build man. Does the gentleman at jdmadvance do all the research and purchasing of the jdm vehicle? Just wondering how that part of the process works. Thx.

I didn't see this asked in the thread so forgive my ignorance if it is.

Did Jdmadance deal with clearing CBP for the US or was this something you had to deal with? Also did you get the rear half of the car or only the front clip + rear mechanics/
