OMG that had to be you. I look at the stereo for ONE SECOND and then snap! crackle! pop! there goes a heart attack.

That sounded nasty. But in a good way.

We have been spending most of our time fine tuning the three maps we have loaded in the BRZ's ECU. At this point in time the ECU has been reflashed 680 times.

I'm just excited that the the motor is proving to be so strong. Even if the Crawford motor has been totally reworked. It is a testament to the good foundation that the FA is turning out to be. Would I love to have a monster like the Crawford car? Of course! Would I just as quickly take a 250hp/200ftlbs version? No question.

Crawford is doing what tuners do. Shooting the moon to see what is possible. They have gone so far past my needs and that's a good thing. There is a lot of room under the curve for us enthusiasts to entertain. A+ to Crawford (not to mention the tuner industry as a whole) for pushing the limits on these motors in quick fashion.

Just think how bummed we all would be if Crawford and the others were showing us cracked blocks, lifted heads, blown main journals, at say 280hp/230ftlbs. Then we would have something to cry about.

Just read the story of the crash. Sorry don't mean to bring it up but just want you to know from my point of view, it's that idiot in the McLaren's fault. He was behind you. He tried to pass off a racing line when he shouldn't have. His fault. I'm not too familiar with track day etiquette but that's my view for what it's what it's worth. Car looks amazing and sounds fun with a turbo! Glad she's good as new again and look forward to seeing more pics!

It is the responsibility of the person being passed to stay ON LINE and let the person passing them pass. Standard HPDE rules.
