CBE questions

Im thinking about getting a TBE, BUT, i might have to get the exhaust in sections, due to financial issues. Will there be any tuning needed for just the CBE? And on the opposite side, would it be completely pointless to get the down pipe with the stock CBE?
Will def. be getting all name brand AND matching parts. Just not sure if i should start at the CBE or the TBE. HELP!
