The Massachusetts Highway Safety Division director is out of her job Monday after it was revealed that her driving record included seven crashes and violations.

As director of the Massachusetts Highways Safety Division since 2007, Burgess was responsible for developing highway safety policies and reducing crashes.

However, her driving history shows that since 1982, she's received four speeding violations two failure to stop for a police officer, one driving without a license or registration, one driving without wearing a seatbelt and one failure to stay in her lane.

It gets better:

Burgess has been on leave since she suffered a head injury in a one-car crash in Milton in August. She told police she swerved off the road to avoid an oncoming vehicle and wasn't cited.
