I am sure they would fit, but for a whole lot cheaper you could just buy the kicker speakers, Or a number of other brands and have better sound

well its for one of the techs here at the dealership that just bought a new wrx so our cost. he is just wanting something that is a plug and play instead of trying to hard wire in. i work in the parts dept. so all i can do is just look them up and order them.

They leave quite a bit to be desired.

If you run 75w rms from a good amp to them they actually sound good.

Problem is that just adding any speaker to the stock headunit with no power upgrade is pointless

^Exactly.

This all depends on how much "cost" is.

I doubt they are any good. Oem rebranded speakers are never actually a speaker carried on their line.

Dodge "alpine" speakers aren't actually alpine speakers.
Subaru "kicker" speakers more than likely aren't an actual kicker speaker.

He is better off going with actual supermarket, not oem rebranded.

I talked to one of the Kicker reps at SEMA and he said the Subaru speakers or just their DS series speakers with OEM plugs and drop in mounts. So they are actual Kicker speakers, but they are the low end Kicker line.

Those kickers with proper power sound really good. I have them and you would be amazed by the quality with the right power

I have Kicker KS-60s in my 2013 wrx. They are like one notch above in quality from the DS-60 that are the Subaru speakers.

Key is I power them with a JL XD 400/4 and give them good class d power

Or, you could just get the Alpine SPR-60/C series with an amp and have amazing sound for the money.
