Default Tinting

I hope this is the right spot to post this...anyways, I was wondering if anyone knows of a decent place other than the Subaru dealer itself for window tinting? I live in Eastern Massachusetts, I am considering going to the dealer for it sometime before the next summer; but I'm thinking the dealer is going to over charge me. However, I don't want to sacrifice quality for the sake of saving a couple bucks.

Well, he did ask nicely. There are very few things I'd go to the dealership for, tint is not one of them. Solar Solutions is my recommendation, Tint King gets recommended a lot as well.

OP, one time I was driving in eastern Mass somewhere within an hour or two of Boston and I saw this sign that said "Window Tinting" or something. If you can find this sign, go there. It was on a street with some other businesses. I think the owner either drives a pickup or a car, and his name might be Lewis or Derek or something that starts with T.

Solar Solutions in Bedford, Ma. Top notch work. Lifetime guarantee. And they do it while you wait (about an hour on a couch with tv and movies). Very very reasonable pricing too. Under $200.

I had my 2012 STI sedan done for $170 Solar Solutions in Bedford, MA,...that was including the $10 discount I received for mentioning NASIOC.

what are you trying to do tinting your windows? block the sun, block the cops, block people from seeing what? there is a clear window film that blocks uv.

If you have to ask these questions, you just don't get it. For me it was blocking the sun, and looking good on the car.

I hate to break it to you, but as far as the sun goes, that blue film on the windshield doesn't do much. Let alone help when the sun is beaming in from the drivers side window. It also makes the car look better.

Who mentioned the factory windshield tint? He's just asking what your goal is for tinting.

Yeah solar solutions, 180 bucks for the wagon. There's one in Bedford off I95 that I went to. They were good people got it done right away. Call ahead for appointment.
