Default A sti 05 new owner

Hey whats up guys. I just bought a sti 05 a month ago and everything is pretty good until I race a type s rsx and it took me by a car on my 4th gear.. For some reason it took for ever to reach 6k to shift to 5 gear... Is that normal? Oh yeah it came with a after market blow out valve and a short cold air intake... And for some reason the blow out valve it haves play.. I could move it around with my hand.. And there a small holes that run inside my car close to the gas paddles from that blow out valve...

Fill out your profile. If English is not your native language, please state so or also fix that. I had to delete this exact same post from another thread that you posted in, don't jumble up other threads with your issues.

With the issues you state, take the car to a reputable mechanic and get a good inspection done. We cannot truly diagnose this car with the information you have provided.

Take it to a mechanic. Also take off the blow off valve and put the stock one back on. These cars do not like blow off valves. And I don't remember if the Sti's required a tune for a intake, but, I would either get a tune for that or take it off.

Do not touch anything on your car. Just drive it to a shop and get them to look at it for you. Also read up on the stickies on here. You have some learning to do.

well it depends what speed you were going in 4th lol, u gotta hit the powerband the right way so that might contribute to why 4th gear took so long...
