im ok with the fact that theres function there and i really like the fact that you painted them black. but everyone else paints them blue or rocks the red to be noticed. people should just save there pennies and buy volks or works instead of all these rotas. people are nickle and diming giving us suby owners a bad rep. just my 2 cents

Everyone has the right to their own opinion, however I completely disagree with your comment that they are useless. Stand in front of my STI while I honk my horns, you will certainly have ringing in your ears. I put them in for safety's sake. People that swerve into my lane will know right away to get back into theirs.

Pretty sure there are worse things to worry about then $50 horns for a subaru. How do you think I felt? I've been here since early 2000 (under a different name) and have seen the impreza take off from what it used to be. Some modded very clean and tasteful others riceariffic. I learned after the wrx was released that I just have to get over it because it's only going to grow. So just get over it already.

License plate covers, clear or tinted, are not legal because any material or covering, other than a frame or plate holder, placed on, over or in front of the plate that alters the appearance of the plate, would be illegal. Plate covers, especially tinted ones, alter the visibility of the plate and most importantly, all plate covers alter the reflectivity of the plate. (ORS 803.550).

So take that for what it's worth. I assume they are NOT legal, but if you use the plasti dip stuff, you could always peel off...Not the greatest look though

Thanks Blur125. I'm having a lot of trouble buying the impreza. Dealers won't budge :P. What are you prices you guys are paying for your imprezas? I got a base model (I'm ganna mod it) that I am trying to negotiate and go tit down to 19,700ish (incl destination).

I saved about $1,700

*Hint

Create Multiple Email accounts. Then haggle back and forth for the same car/model/color with the same dealer.

EX: Fake email account #1 - offer 2100
Fake email account #2 - offer 2000
Offer the price for the same car to the same car salesman.

Its very simple to use. I would just try it out and mess around with it and just see what offers you get.

Yea i posted a pic on the last page or two. Got it replaced but still have a crack in my bumper. Dealership charged me $40 for the stupid thing after they said it was $30 on the phone. But it popped right in and the light still works, so I'm over it.

I am currently in the process of finding a fix for the cracked bumper and will post pics soon.

Yup advance auto parts. But its probably at any auto store like mentioned earlier.

I looked into doing this too, but i dont have red anywhere else on the car. I was thinking silver, but im on the fence.
