Default New cluster, wrong indications, Please help

I just bought a 2002 M/T USDM instrument cluster from a member on here and I have talked to him, and we both are stumped. Here's what happened. I got the cluster today, and everything looked great until I went to put it in. I unplugged my old cluster, and plugged this one in. Everything plugged right in, no problems. but when I plugged it in, The temp gauge, gas gauge both pegged high, the speedo went to 25ish mph, and the tach went to 3000rpm right away. Also, the tach tracks as in when revs increase, it shows revs rising, but it is very notchy and is super slow to respond. Please help.
here are some pics.
Old cluster

New cluster once I plugged it in. unplugged, the gas gauge reads full, temp reads at the first notch above C, and tach reads 750rpm

Any help would be greatly appreciated as right now, my cluster is a KPH cluster, and I'd like to have an mph one.

Thanks, Eric
