I haven't, but know plenty that have and my friend went into great detail with me about it. Illinois you can state register anything. But the way I'd do it it would technically be fed legal.

Such wonderful cars in this thread. Does anyone know what lip the s206 lip is? I can't really find any definitive info telling me what part number. I'm guessing it's the same lip that we can buy from our USDM dealers.

^ this is correct as I recall it: jdm 2001 HID-only = black chrome, jdm 2001 non-HID and jdm 2002 = black. Source: read this on Nasioc like 10 years ago... and the fact that I've never seen Halogen black chromes.
Subaru has done this with other years too... 04 vs 05 headlights; 06 vs 07 taillights, 11 vs 12 headlights, etc. |

the 2001 STI spec c type RA came without HID's or Brembo's.
It was one of the very few bugeye sti's that received the DCCD 6-speed and crank windows. |
