DCAWD Meet Thursday 11/29/12 - Hard Times

Hello all,
The next meeting of DC All Wheel Drive will be on Thursday, 11/29/12 at 7pm. We will be meeting outside for a little while, then going inside to grab some grub! While we are outside, please stay out of the right of ways. No standing in the road and such, just stay in between or in front of the cars If hoods open, only leave them open long enough to do your business.

Ill try to head up there. Im new to the subaru scene and im trying to get a better understanding . My car is bone stock so any advice will help. Hope to see you guys there!

This is a great group. So many new people coming out, I may have to abandon the usual Clyde's meet to come say hello.

We have everything from base model Subaru's to pretty modified ones, so we can definitely lend some opinions on modifications if you want.

Most of those that fall in the former category are moving toward the latter though

Lol, true! Hard to leave something alone when it's so easy to make better with minimal mods

Stage 2 was a gateway mod and your idea of a mostly stock sti still involves a new turbo :P

I'll be there, +1. Just need to swap the winter wheel/tires on the RS. Getting a bit too cold out there for the summer tires.

Let's face it, if you're having an engine rebuilt and you intend to keep the car for a while, a bigger turbo and fuel system upgrades should be mandatory.

And certainly if you have an 06-08 WRX or an 04+ FXT and you don't put a vf series turbo on them, you need a good talkin' to.
