I like the front end, I just don't like the rest of the car.
Also, having it as a standalone platform instead of a hopped-up sleeper Regal is a little disappointing, and I'm betting it will be stupid expensive too. |

I'm excited about this. Good news all around wether I buy one or not. Great news for the diversity of fun cars on offer in the market.

about the time these come out, gas will be back to 5 or 6 per gallon. When Japan makes 50-69mpg cars, Government Motors makes pigs that get 20 MPG, will NEVER learn a thing.

As much as I hate GM (trust me, it's probably more than you at this moment) They will only build what the people want, and quite frankly GN/GNX sales will be a percent of a percent of overall sales anyway. Keep in mind they still build the Volt and Spark.

If this comes out in RWD, manual, TTV6, that is going to be one hell of a car, but since this is GM it will probably show up
V6, FWD, CVT You have burned me before getting my hopes up Buick! Never again! |

GM has enough rwd platforms going to have no excuse...a Grand National or GNX is not a FWD car dammit

Agreed.....but........this IS GM we are talkin about. Looka at the newer Malibus, Impalas, Hell....they even brought back the Nova in the 90s i think.....little hatchback pos lol
Its like they get a really great idea to bring back something with character......then the CVT that biatch and make it FWD!! |

I think that's a pretty appropriate look for a modern GN. There's just enough styling cues to suggest that what's under the hood is not so ordinary, but it will fly under the radar as a normal car for most onlookers. Reminds me of the Pontiac G8.
