Finally, got the heads all finished up. I know that these are not the best pictures, but you get the idea.

Intake and exhaust valves were coated
Combustion chambers were coated
Piston tops were coated.
Exhaust ports were coated.

I know it has been a long time, but life has thrown me a few curveballs, so progress has been slow. Shortblock is together, just waiting on ARP 625's to arrive and longblock will be done. Lots of things have changed since the build began. I know everyone loves pictures so here are a few of the new oil sump until I can get some more interesting pictures of the build.

The part you said no one could guess is a steering part that changes ratio, I dont know proper part name lol. Looks like an awesome build!

Ding, ding, ding, LOL. Yes that is a steering quickener. The ITB's have long been gutted and heavily modified. I only really needed the plenum but they came with the manifold so I made use of the housings.

Thanks

Here is the car on its way to the body shop, I hated to paint a car with only 9k miles on it, but the white refused to match. The wheels are some I borrowed to get it there, they are 8" wide lol.

Here is one from tonight, just a little more work and then in the booth.

And here is why I can't seem to stay focused on the car, lol. This kid is tough as nails and insists on proving that constantly.

I took him out the day after and got plenty of looks from people. His entire cheek ended up black. I felt horrible for the little guy.

Progress has been terrible slow on the car, but things seem to being getting back to normal. We have gotten settled in with our newest addition to the family, my second son, and work has more or less become manageable. Here is a picture from a couple of weeks ago with the front end just sitting together on the car.

In the meantime I did get my truck painted and a new front end put on it

Here is a picture of the first rough cut on the inside of the valve cover in preparation for the dry sump system.

Looks like it is going to be a pretty nice build. Definitely want to see that dry sump system

I got my build thread up an operational now. Posts are slow as rushing to get ready for OCAWDMEET. http://forums.nasioc.com/forums/show....php?t=2517269

The dry sump should be complete in the next week or so. I have been terribly meticulous with it. I wanted a true 5 stage system on the car. Just checked your build thread. Looks good. Welding all those holes in the engine bay is tons of fun right? I thought it would never end.

Sounds/looks like you have been doing some welding yourself lol. Getting ready to either weld the entire 10 foot sections of frame rail or just foam them with dap water proof polyurethane closed cell foam. Would rather just foam them but just got done looking at pricing and that's not going to be cheap :*-( lol. Looks like you got a pretty decent shop setup too!
