You'd be kicking yourself if something like this happened because you didn't check it out. Worse case you find a problem with the pickup and replace it. Best case you find nothing, know there's nothing wrong, and don't loose any sleep over it.

So if I go to get an oil change tomorrow. Ill ask the guy to check the oil pan? For what? And what would be wrong with it?
What is a pickup ?

I have to drive about 5 miles to work in the morning
