On my 2012 Impreza
My Windshield washer spray pattern does not seam to hit the drivers side very effectively. Is anyone else having a similar issue? Is there away to adjust the spray pattern or direction with these washer nozzles? Thanks!

Just take a safety pin or paper clip and stick it in the nozzle holes and adjust accordingly. At least that is how it was on my old car. Have you looked in the owners manual yet?

I seem to have the same problem too. Do you know how they adjusted it?

I asked my dealership about this, and they say that is how it is designed. If you look at the nozzle and the cowl, it is designed to point more toward the center of the windshield.
Something about the aerodynamics of the spray at 75 mph or the fact that the drivers side wiper blade is 10 feet long... I don't have a problem with it actually cleaning the windshield, but I did notice this when I first sprayed the washer. |

How to adjust: Tools: Small 1/8" flat screwdriver Above and below the orifices are horizontal slots that fit a small flat screwdriver perfectly. Insert your screwdriver in either slot and carefully adjust the nozzle up/down and left/right, as needed. You should feel and see the nozzle rotate in its housing. Test your work, re-adjust, and enjoy! Last edited by ScoobyCO; 12-03-2012 at 11:23 AM. |

My drivers side was hitting low. I moved it up a little. It sprays in the center of the windshield now.
