Default Need help with Rim choice!!

hey ..

if someone can point me to a sticky or thread that has this information..I apologize

I have a 2011 sedan STi..and have a question:

I want to run RPF1's in a 17" size...I believe they only come in one offset?

I need to know if they will fit over the brakes ect..and how wide of a tire I run on stock suspension.

is anybody doing this that can help me out..

Thanks!

What's the question/issue? Do you know about the WHEEL AND TIRE FORUM? We need to know more then just wanting 17" XXXXXXXX model.

^ditto. What are you actually asking? A simple google search would have netted you some pictures if you wanted to see what it looked like.

We need to know more then 17" wheels then. Width of tire will also depend on a lot of things. You need to do your research.

And for "don't care what they look like." Obviously you do, you have a specific wheel picked out.

I need to know if they will fit over the brakes ect without needing spacers..and would prefer someone who runs these type of Rims to let me know ...

Also need to know how wide of a tire I can run with stock suspension without rubbing.
Ah gotchya.

Looks like a 17x9.5 +38mm offset you'll need a 5mm spacer. Not sure how wide you can go without rubbing, I'd imagine something like 255 or maybe a 265. I know a couple of 2011+ wrx's fit 265's on stock suspension without rubbing.

These rims aren't for my daily driving..so I really do not care what they look like

I'll review the forum more to hopefully get more info ..I just asked hoping someone specifically using these rims on a newer STi would chime in..

Thank you mtarr07!
