haha, they really dont, do they. oh well. my point is that the light had *just* changed. keep in mind the car was travelling 30 or 40-mph, i missed the light by a tenth of a second. $100 later... just a bit grumpy.

plate covers dont work. i've downloaded the Garmin function alerting of ticket cams - probably the best defense.

So you're going to slow down to 1/2 speed through an intersection even if the light is green? No dice. Yellow lights are shortned by a few seconds for many of these redline cameras. Bull****.

No, you missed the light by over 3 seconds. It turns yellow for a reason. At 40mph, that 3 seconds of yellow before it turned red was roughly 180ft traveled. Even taking away a second for reaction time, that's 120ft. If you can't easily stop a modern car from 40mph in 120ft, you suck at the driving.

I use an app on my iPhone called Waze. It's a free, user based GPS. You get alerts for accidents, red light cams, and police officers from fellow users.

I want to do 2 things: hella horns, and fog lamps behind the grille... I was trying to decide which of the 2 I should choose... You just showed me I should get both... Never thought of that, so thanks!
