Citroen reveals 2013 WRC livery

Citroen has revealed the colour scheme it will use in next year's World Rally Championship.

The team, which has won the WRC drivers' title for the past nine years with Sebastien Loeb, is preparing for its first season without the Frenchman leading its attack.

Mikko Hirvonen, who finished second in the championship to Loeb in his first year with Citroen in 2012, now leads the team, while Dani Sordo returns for at least 11 rounds.

Citroen's new colour scheme is a result of it signing a major sponsorship deal with Abu Dhabi.

Khalid Al-Qassimi joins the line-up for this year, and the 40-year-old will combine a limited WRC programme with an assault on the Middle East Rally Championship.

Glad for Dani but ouch that Ford dropped out partly from losing Citroen's new sponsor if I recall correctly. Still really bummed about Petter...

I like the blue color scheme of yesteryear better. The gold is kind of...tacky looking.

Good that Sordo is back on the team. Definitely would like to see him win a rally this year.

Don't really care about al-Qassimi. He's just there as a poster boy for Abu Dhabi anyway.

Ford wasn't sponsored by Abu Dhabi last season. The two entities parted ways after 2011.

I like the new Citroen livery.
