Just ordered some DPI1000cc injectors for my build

Has anyone else heard of them?

I immediately emailed the sales dept and they were able to hook me up with a deal I couldn't pass up! I was in the market for injectors and happened to stumble across them! Great price and the fuel atomization compared to all the other 1000s out there is crazy to see. I sure don't want unburnt fuel caking up on my engine.

Can't wait to get them installed! And tuned!!

Never heard of them, and wouldn't have bought them until I'd done thorough research, more then their own provided image. (Not saying they are bad)

After a long day at work i came home to a package on my front porch. As I have ordered lots of parts in the past for my car, that have taken there time to arrive, I was expecting something I had ordered for my girlfriend. As I picked up the box and read who it was from I was shocked to see Donkey Power Injection(DPI) on the label. DPI has granted me the best customer service I have received from a online store. I ordered my injectors late Monday afternoon and had received them today. Here are some quick pictures I took. I am really excited to experience these injectors in my car. I will be tuning Saturday and I will all keep you updated on my experience.

I thought id1000 went for 480+65 for plug n play clips. These injectors are supposed to have a better spray pattern and fuel atomization then the id1000. I'm throwing them in on Saturday and hitting up the dyno. Keep you all posted

Are those Ev14s? The nozzle looks more like 1990's tech EV6s.

I also like how they list "Intermittent response across vast range of operating conditions" as a feature. I hope thats a spelling mistake, or you just bought injectors advertised for not working right.

You probably could've gotten them shipped to you for $500 or less.

Either way I know these injectors will perform better then id1000 can't wait to get them installed and tune the car

I doubt it. ID's are known to be some of the best injectors on the market. If those DPI's were so good, there'd be a lot of people running them.

That's a pretty narrow minded view... A lot of products/brands from other enthusiast communities just don't reach the Subaru world.

That being said, I think independent flow testing would be the best way to settle this, along with the tuning results and experience.

Couldn't have said it better myself. I'll look into finding a place to flow test them. Anyone have any id1000 that I could flow test?

Tuning this Saturday so I gotta find something quick!

True, but don't you see some truth to my statement? If something works well, people talk about it, tuners talk about it, racers talk about it...well maybe not

but you see my point. If these injectors are really that great, SOMEBODY would know something about them.

Think I got someone to send me a set of id1000 to flow test! I don't think it will be possible to do this all before Saturday. Hmmm...

i agree to an extent. you havent heard any negative comments either have you? and theres always with any product that first buyer. perhaps its just a new company.

Good news guys my buddy here locally is going to loan me his id1000 injectors to flow test against! Thank you to the guy that offered up his id1000 to test against.

Drew- I thought dpi said the last few years they have focused on performance fuel injectors and have been in the racing community 15yrs.

So technically wouldn't that make them a new company?
