There is AutoX and some drifting. No official rallying. Last I heard some people were working on it.

Eh, the rallyX died off pretty fast. It was a pretty good time though..just some tires and an open muddy field. I am not much for AutoX, so now pretty much just run at Sturgis during street legals in the summer every once and awhile.

Is there still a Facebook page where you guys go for around here? Couldn't find anything..I just don't check NASIOC very often anymore.

My subie might be no more. Hit a deer coming back from Sioux Falls on my way to Spearfish. The car goes to Sioux Falls for inspection today. The person I've been in contact with seems to think it's likely totaled. It didn't even have 35k miles.

Idk. I don't really have a place to store it, so that would make parting it out difficult. The wheels are 18x8.5 +42.

I might be able to let you guys know what buyback is if you wanna pay for the whole thing. There's low mileage parts to be had.

I would also be interested in the wheels.

But honestly with that low of miles that thing still has to book for well over $20k. I can't believe they would total it out.

Books for $23k. However, the lady in charge of my claim seemed pretty positive it'd be totaled. Even had me call the bank for the payoff price.

So there is a good chance the car will be fixed. With that said, if it is fixed, those of you interested in the wheels might still be in luck. Come tax return time I am thinking about doing a 5x114.3 conversion, and will have to buy new wheels, the hubs/knuckles, and struts/springs.

If that's the case the wheels and tires will be up for grabs, as well as my Tein Flex coilovers. Anybody interested? Cody, maybe I could cut you a deal in exchange for installing the new suspension bits...

Hopefully none. I want it fixed here in Spearfish. My GFs uncle owns a body shop here that does extremely good work.

If it's totalled I will get something different. I've got deals lined up on a Focus ST and an FRS just in case.

You can bet though that if it's getting fixed I will be extremely neurotic about the repairs. The good news is that the guy that runs the body shop I want to take it to is a perfectionist.

Here is a bike my GFs dad built that was painted by his brother (guy who owns/runs the body shop):

Which shop is that, Chirs? Got some sides and a lip I need painted WRB.

Also if you are serious about getting rid of the wheels let me know. I am buying some either way with income tax so I don't run on snow tires year round. Would take the coils as well but not sure if I could afford both. If you want to just sell one or the other PM me a price if you decide to change it up. I'll pick up in spearfish

The shop is Mack's auto body.

I won't know about the wheels/coils etc until I know what's happening to my car. I looked at the estimate the adjuster wrote up and it was way off. Had many things missing, and I haven't yet heard what the dealership determined, so all and all I'm getting a bit frustrated.

Wheel and tire setup was $1400, if I sold em I'd guess around $900. I bought the wheels in July, and they're near flawless, just one has a half cm scuff, and tires are have about 12k miles, but most of that was driving to Cali and back. Coils are $1700 new, and supposedly will require a rebuild ($600 for all 4) at 60k miles (30k on em now). Would probably look at $700 or so for those, but would have to look at em once they're off the vehicle. They looked pretty solid (corrosion on the hardware, but not the coils) when I had it on the lift a few times in Cali.

I just want to know if I should be looking at new parts or a new car right now. Still, if I could swing it I would LOVE to build an RSTi. I just can't go a month without a vehicle, or know of a place to store one. Maybe if I could work something out with my shop supervisor back in SF. I understand he has a large garage. Maybe I could convince him to help me with the swap.... I might be on to something here.

My claims adjuster has been useless.

I looked online and my car is now labeled a total loss. We'll see what the offer is tomorrow hopefully.

I really hope they don't screw you over on it. That car in the condition it was in was worth some serious coin. Keep us updated man.

And thanks for the heads up on Mack's. I will stop in and talk to them once I get my crap mounted and ready for paint.

And on a happier note I got bored last night.

So I decided to tint the reverse lights, not sure if I like it or not, but it is starting to grow on me a bit more. Easy enough to take off if I decide I don't want them at least.

And then made some brackets and installed some fog covers I picked up here on teh cheap. Will probably ditch the yellow STi sticker once it warms up a bit.

Also had to take my bumper off to get the fog light cover brackets mounted the right way, and it is such a pain taking this thing off and getting it back on with the FMIC. So last night I started on a quick release bumper set up. Will have 2 latches on the side mounted to the fender and then anywhere between 2-4 Dzus clips hidden under the grill. Plan on working on that tonight if they are dry (Painted everything satin black with automotive paint then 2 coats of clear)

So just wondering of anyone has stock STI or wrx parts they are trying to get rid of? I'm trying to start the build up on my fozzy.

I got cams off of my 2010 WRX, and a few other things. Grimmspeed lightweight crank pulley...that's all I can think of off the top of my head.
