On a side note anyone know were you can get the rubber boots for the steering rack and tie rods? Auto zone and O'Reilly don't carry them.

Try car quest. It's on burbank blvd across from the car wash. They have some of those parts. I also have a set of factory boots and clamps. I was thinking of selling, lmk. As I got a 04 sti rack complete after I bought these. Also have the alignment tools. Also have one inner tierod from subaru new in the package.

So I got hit from behind on friday while sitting in traffic. It was more of a hard tap really, and there is no real damage other than my rear bumper cover is slightly mis-aligned, noticeable most evidently by comparing the gap on each side between the tail lights and the bumper. Anyone one got a recommendation for a body shop to take this to to be sorted out? Preferably one that won't look at me like I'm being completely anal about one side of my bumper being 1/4" lower than the other side. Oh and I'm doing this through my insurance so it needs to be a shop that is setup to work with insurance companies.

I usually use Classic Collision Center in pasadena, they are on walnut. They did really good work on my WRX when it got broken into. We have taken several other cars of our there too. They looked like nothing ever happened when they where done. They are expensive but if insurance is footing the bill I say go there.

Yay! Go fast bits arrived today. Been waiting 6 months for some Dutch guy to finish making these and ship them to Turn in Concepts.

Dan at exotic motor designs did my front panel and does most of matts work. Super legit.

im curious how the rally car is going to be for auto-x. kinda excited to weigh it and see how that guy does

I'm more excited to see how it does at rallying. Can't wait for a ride along. How is the progress coming along, update us. Got a build thread on here?

havnt made a build thread yet. plan on starting one when i have more time to sit down and put time into it. buying a house has occupied most of my time along with work.

the build as of now is done fabricating. full cage, pin stands, suspention was shipped from rallispec with spares. got a set of wheels and bfg tires.
the car is getting painted and logbook currently. end of jan i expect the engine to be in and fired up along with putting it back together. i will be running it at the first rallycross as a shake down for the car and addressing anything needed after that.

What tyres did you get? Snow tyres? Gravel tyres?
