Default Prodrive prices

I work at a dealership and someone traded a 07 sti limited edition with 33,000 miles in mint condition with all prodrive struts, silver springs, short throw kit, axle back exhaust, sway bars, rims (gc-010e), cold air intake. The car pulls way harder than stock so I'm thinking it was tuned somewhere but I would like some info on those parts as they are apparently hard to find, anyone know about how much those cost now a days?

1. Prodrive doesn't exist per se anymore.
2. Finding parts is either A: a whore or B: ZOMFG expensive.

There are 98,873 other power options as good or better for 900% less...choose one.

I'm not buying them the car already has that stuff on it. I just wanted to know what they are going for price wise.

I'm pretty sure prodrive still build cars to GrpN specification for privateer teams.

There is also those silly bastards who want an ex WRC chassis rebuilt back to GrpA spec too.

I am sure these 98,873 others also have the resources and data collected through the riggors of racing and testing as say a tuning firm as prodrive. They also probably are trusted enough to jointly work with Subaru in developement of products as the Prodrive-developed Performance Packs and rb320.
Not a Prodrive whore, but they have earned my respect with there roots in racing and what they have done for the industry.

Prodrive turboback systems used can go for $600-800. A prodrive tuned ecu I'm not sure about. And the prodrive cai is discontinued since prodrive abandoned the U.S. I've seen them go for around $250 in good condition(prodrive sourced the cai from aem and they sell the same product to this day just different badges and colors). Anything prodrive is rare and truly a piece of Subaru history. The wheels arnt as rare as they are still being made and can be sourced from cosworth or rallysportdirect.con

Let's be real, the "rigors of racing and testing" were for the WRC cars. The rest was just stuff they made that was good quality. Just like all the other good quality parts on the market.

If you want new quality parts, look at Cobb, GrimmSpeed, Perrin (in most cases), and so on. These aren't rocket ships, most everything that could be done to these cars has been done.

+1. 0% of Prodrive pieces sold to us Subaru enthusiasts were "race tested" as all the WRC stuff is custom one off.

Nice looking car. But yeah, $27k for a 6 year old car? And with all those mods, even though it's only got 33k miles, those miles were probably driven hard. You can do better.

That thing is clean as hell. It'll be gone in no time. Somebody will pay that or very close to it.

Price seems pretty fair considering it's a Limited, probably ~600 left in the country given wrecks, etc.

For that particular car itself, sure I can see how it might be worth it to spend that much. That's like saying it's worth it to drop $50k on a bmw 850csi. I would do just that in a heartbeat. There aren't many of those left in the country either. But when looking at value and things like that, this seems like more of a secondary car purchase. Once you have your main mode of transportation down. To each their own, but when I look at what $27k can buy me, call me risk averse, but I'd put it on a new wrx for a few grand less and pocket the difference. And that's exactly what I did
