because they labeled first a Daihatsu and than a Toyota as a Subaru, there isnīt enough room (read money) for Subaru to develop a completly new car.

And if this car has a stronger engine than the next size modell, well, that is something you canīt explain to your customer.

Subaru has been rethinking a lot of things the past few years. Why couldn't they use the term WRX or STI for a completely new car? Heck. They might even give it a new name.
first you said "a completly new WRX/STI"....outside of Japan, they never sold officially a Legacy STI or Forester STI. And the term WRX is stuck to the Impreza.

I agree, we both donīt know, but if you want to participate to Motorsports, you burn money, and your aim is to win.

There are no WRC-bullets in Subarus Colt. The only possibility is to take the Impreza and transform it to one ugly WTCC-car.

Letīs wait til 2014

Default No all wheel drive or manual

To be a rally replica this car needed to be all wheel drive. So much potential, all wasted.

They don't have to develop a completely new car. All they have to do is modify existing technology and equipment(read current Impreza and BRZ).

Car companies have been doing this for years. Wasn't the STI stronger than the Legacy? What about the Camaro, Mustang, Challenger, ect., ect., ect.?
