That's the OEM rack but it won't fit a GC.

Snow tires just went on for the winter, and found one of my low mile(7000miles) OEM tires had a screw in it, GRRRR! Pulled it out and sure enough it was all the way thru and leaking. The hole is on the second bar from the outside, should be fixable, or I can go to Michelin Pilot Super Sports and sell these off.

At least yours is not on the sidewall. I got a minor pinch on the sidewall of my winter tires, so now im short one.

After last winter the studded tires are still in the shed, waiting for the "big one".

Watched a whole line of cars pass a BMW 1-series this morning that was fishtailing all over the place in the 8 inches of snow we got here. Like a fish out of water.

I swapped mine over Thanksgiving weekend, with some help. since I was on crutches from a severe ankle sprain.

yup. we had freezing rain (black ice) for the most part and it was full retard yesterday / this morning.

i came from a Magnum R/T - RWD. i had good all-season tires and it still sucked in the snow.

don't get me wrong, i spent 7 years upstate NY right in the snow belt. i know how to drive in the snow.

that magnum was turrrrrrrble in the snow. the traction control was useless, too much tourqe. the continental tires i had and two bags of kitty litter made good. good and terrible.

driving with other people in the car made it ok though.

I just went into winter mode today with a set of freshly painted wheels. Picked them up private sale with tires 2 weeks ago. I couldn't leave the wheels alone though.
