Start up fine, afr rock solid at 14.5 -15.

After a warm up cycle the sensors kick in. And AFRs are all over the place. This tune has been confirmed to be good and got me 600 issue free miles.

What I think it could be :
O2 sensors: brand new 5 - 6 weeks ago
BOV (Just tore apart and compressed spring today to see if it was stuck slightly open)
Vacuum lines. This is my #1 guess.
Fuel: have enough fuel pump to overcome any small leaks, but I don't see or smell any
Does this only in closed loop. I was data logging the day it happened and I didn't knock, but if I'm light on the throttle for cruising or at idle it is all over the place

Passes 15psi boost test, didn't do a vacuum test. Any suggestions?

I'm still in for coming up Levon, just let me know man. I'm pretty sure my weekend is free, especially Saturday after noon (I work in the morning). I'm not sure I can provide any help but like I said, sometimes just having a second set of eyes helps. What kind of BOV flange do you have? I have a TMIC flange with O-Rings that I machined that we can throw on your car and see if it leaks. Also, what about your TGV's? How are they deleted? I've heard of guys having their inserts/NPT Plugs backing out. Vacuum lines we could individually pinch and see if the problem persists.

Just let me know. You have my number so you can throw me a text or give me a call whenever you want.

Edit: If your BOV flange is different from my TMIC flange, get me some details (like hole diameter, mounting spacing, a picture with a scale) and I can machine a flange with an O-Ring that is just a block off plate so we can definitively check that off the list.

We've got a big thing going on the same weekend next year called SubiCAMP. Sounds like it's going to be WBM but on a smaller scale, but more awesome.

Thanks for the help offer Travis - Unfortunately I'm going to the UP this weekend, because my girlfriend graduates from MTU this Saturday, so this weekend and next weekend due to xmas are a no go. I want to find it, but obviously its not really driving season anyways, so I'm not too worked up about it yet. As long as it is done by April 1st I dont care haha.

I have a Vband BOV, so I imagine it would be super easy to machine one, All I'd have to get is the Thickness of the clamp material. OD of the flange, and the OD of the part on the inside for the Oring, that I already have

Grimmspeed did my TGVs so I'm hoping that they are fine. Again - Can't say thanks enough!

How was the meet yesterday?

I rode in car #252 (06 STi) had a good time. Wish I had my camera up there

Matching the angle for the V-Band may prove to be my demise. I may be able to turn on one my lathe (I was hoping to throw it in the CNC or Mill), but we have limited tooling for that thing since we never use it for jobs.

I'm sure your TGV's are fine, unfortunately. I'd like for it to be something so simple as a set of TGV deletes, but that doesn't look like it will go that way for us.

It's odd to me that you car idles fine while it's in warm up mode. Does your AFR start to cycle wildly once the coolant reaches a certain temperature? IACV maybe? I'm really stabbing wildly in the dark now.

No meet for us yesterday. I wasn't up to it, and since no one else mentioned anything it seems like nobody else was either.

Just got an update from tigWERKS: He had his girlfriend take care of shipping packages last week, and apparently she shipped a bunch of packages to the wrong addresses, or didn't ship packages at all; mine didn't ship at all. He says he is going to express ship it to me tomorrow, so maybe I'll have it by this weekend, but I'm not holding my breath. tigWERKS has been nothing but a headache the entire ordeal.

It started at 14. Slowly working it down. I have a set price I'm looking /need to get. I'm open to offers but everyone seems to be lowballing me at 10-11k. It's no secret everyone is gonna offer 500-1500 less than I'm asking :/ I'm open to reasonable offers and depending on how close it is to where I need to be depends on if I let it go. I looked on auto trader and after seeing what they are listed at I'm at a really fair price

Just remember it may take a while to sell for fair price. If you want to dump it and get ride of a car payment, throw out your lowest number you are willing to take and stay firm on that.

Oh okay. I wonder if I can order a block off plate for it. I'll look into it, if it is cheap, why not. I don't think STi have IACV, that is a Drive by wire "feature" I think. I don't think the coolant has a chance to even truly change temperature. It is usually 15-20 seconds after cold (24hour) start up in my garage at 34 degrees.

I cleaned my PCV from the recommendation of another member on my build thread, and I got 45 or so seconds today before it messed up! WOOO!

I just hope it isn't a sensor... those suck to pay for.

Open Source, or Cobb?

If it's Open Source, I'd open up RomRaider and look for changes in sensors or switches to get turned on/off when the car starts to stumble. See if you can shut off switches/solenoids one or groups at a time, then test. I know it's time consuming and tedious, but that's another thing that should be checked.

good thinking. It is opensource. First time I've been happy about open source. I haven't ever tinkered with that though so it will take some learning.

I've read some threads where once the fans kick in ... the bad idle goes away. Probably from load on motor or something..

I'm not happy I haven't found the issue yet, but I'm glad I have some guidance!
