I loves me some good BBQ, and I hear their BBQ is pretty good. If I'm not busy that weekend, I'd like to come.

Ok this is kinda weird/funny. As I type this, I'm eating some leftover turkey smothered in Colonel Bacon sauce from........ BBQ Excahnge in Gordonsville.

It must be a sign

If I'm free 12/15 I'd be down, that place is smack-yo-mama good.

A good Subie-spotting day!

Saw a new-to-me WRB WRX northbound on 29 as I was headed to Kohl's this afternoon...it turned down Polo Grounds Road. Then spotted an '07(?) WRB STi on my way back down 29 around 3:30. Nice car with an awesome sounding catback. It had a cool-looking blue glow inside the headlights too. Plate on that one was N8BAT7, I think. Anyone on here?

New plates. Not sure if they are funny or clever, but for $10 I thought what the hey.

Cool! We'll have to drum up more interest, but I think we can get a few of the C'ville crew to attend.

Just a word to the wise...

I was chatting with a couple of co-workers today who live near Gordonsville, and they suggested that we be on our best behavior when we roll into Gordonsville on Saturday. Apparently, the local constables don't take kindly to vehicular asshatery in their town...

Yeah, I usually make it a point to slow down and creep through smaller towns when I'm out being a moron in the country. Barny Fife has nothing better to do than pull you.

Any of the C'ville crew wanna meet up (Pantops?) and head out to Gordonsville as a group?

Also, wagons do indeed rule.

I believe Greene and Orange County have had some trouble in the last year or two with Honda/Acura street racing.... wonder if that influences the sensitivity in Gordonsville.

I think meeting up beforehand is a good idea. Pantops Starbucks at 11:20ish? I will probably be there.

Pretty sure gordonsville town police have been trifling for years and years.
Quick example. ~2 years ago my brother got stopped in his 01 dodge Dakota 4 cylinder 2wd that is all stock just a basic little truck, because the cop "couldn't see his front license plate" that was mounted to the OEM bracket in the OEM location. Talked to him for like 5-10 mins then just let him go.
Not sure if they have big power trip issues or what.
