Yup. Car is dirty after the storm. I included one picture with Rotas on the car.

A bit off topic, how's your paint after the snowstorm? Mine is a bit scratched up, the DGM scratches so easily.

I hear ya. But this snowstorm wasn't that bad so no additional imperfections or at least I dont see any YET. Still I like this color.

I love the color too but the starches are so obvious when you get one. Even light scratches or minor ones in the clear coat appear to be white and stick out like a sore thumb.

Newbie question: I know if you don't install TPMS on your winter tire/wheel setup, you get the light on the dashboard. But what happens when you install your summer tire/wheel setup after a few months, when winter is over? Will the light on the dashboard not light up like normal, or since the wheels/tire haven't been on for a while you have to "reset" something?

The TPMS light will turn off once you have your OEM rims and tires with TPMS mounted again. I haven't had to "reset" anything yet.

What's the offset of these Tirerack wheels? The rear looks like a space saver spare. Does these wheels need hub rings?

Offset on these is 50mm. So only 2mm difference. Reason they look weird is probably because tires are 195/60/16.
I really hate doing tirerack job and free advertising since they really messed up my wheels. Every single one came scratched up. I imagine they have monkeys mounting tires Ha! Amazon sells the same for cheaper. But last time I checked no winter tires and no free mounting. They will ship for free though. If I could do it again I would get them from amazon. I am really mad about all the scratches.

Disappointing to hear that. It seems TR is my only options as the local shops are equally if not more expensive even when including TR shipping plus I would have to get TPMS to have the car "legal." My one concern with TR UPS shipping is if there is a signature required or do they just leave 4 huge tires on your front step? I work until early evening so I don't want someone to walk off with my tires, but at the same time I want to make sure they actually get delivered without anyone being home. Would love to hear your experience on that end of the transaction!

Two years ago they just left tires on my porch even though I have sign "do not leave packages here" I don't live in bad area but packages get "lost" So this year I went to distribution center to pick it up myself.

From what I read, they don't have to install TPMS if you put the tires and wheels on your car yourself. That seems to be correct. I just order them off of TR mounted and balanced without TPMS so I will just have to swap them onto the car. I am glad my inspection is in October so hopefully I can pass with flying colors with my summers on!

Be glad they are just steelies, if the scratches really bother you that much you can touch them up with black paint or plasti dip them I guess.

True and I don't mind doing that especially when wheels are on the car for some time. You are bound to collect some scratches. But to have them look all scratched up BEFORE you even put them on blows my mind.

I'm sure you had reached out to them but if you didn't, you should. They had mounted a directional tire on backwards on a set I had ordered with my last car. I had the shop flip the Tire and Tire Rack cut me a check. Maybe they will do something? Figured I'd put my $0.02 in.

if I go with steel wheels I'm thinking of getting black covers for the wheels. I like to try to protect the hub and lugs a little bit from extra snow/salt/ice if possible.

This might be a total n00b question, but when you say "OEM steelies" do you just mean the size? Or did you actually get these from Subaru? I'm presuming that they didn't come with your car since it looks like you have a Sport... And if you don't mind me asking, what are the size specs and how much did you pay for them?

Tirerack has a set of 16x6.5 for $58 each. I'm wondering if I can get some cheaper somehow...
