I would love to get some of those carbon fender vents from the S206...

No you don't, because there is no way to (federally) legally import or register the car into the US.

I'm guessing you've never imported a car before.

I haven't, but know plenty that have and my friend went into great detail with me about it. Illinois you can state register anything. But the way I'd do it it would technically be fed legal.

Such wonderful cars in this thread. Does anyone know what lip the s206 lip is? I can't really find any definitive info telling me what part number. I'm guessing it's the same lip that we can buy from our USDM dealers.

i'm guessing you meant federally illegal.

doesn't matter what state law is. federal law supersedes state law.

Question:

Which bugeye Sti came with the black chrome HID headlights?
It seems that it was not the S202 and it was obviously not the Spec C. Was this a late 2002 thing, vs 2001 model?

the s204 hawkeye and bugeye sti is my favorite out of the whole bunch...and to keep things classy, i would mind having that legacy s204 either

^ this is correct as I recall it: jdm 2001 HID-only = black chrome, jdm 2001 non-HID and jdm 2002 = black. Source: read this on Nasioc like 10 years ago... and the fact that I've never seen Halogen black chromes.

Subaru has done this with other years too... 04 vs 05 headlights; 06 vs 07 taillights, 11 vs 12 headlights, etc.

the 2001 STI spec c type RA came without HID's or Brembo's.

It was one of the very few bugeye sti's that received the DCCD 6-speed and crank windows.
