Drew, if JE hadn't f'd up their piston production by moving it's facility to Ohio and still taking orders as if nothing ever happened, you'd have your engine by now. If it makes you feel any better, I got shafted for the same reason. A little heads up would have been nice. At least now they're saying it'll be delayed as the new workers are still on a learning curve

You guys are lucky up there in the Marysville farmland. If I drag out a gun down here in Seattle I get a sit-in in front of my house until I put it away.

That being said your not "real" hillbillies until you have cut your first zinger.

Haha, its improving.... well the car is parked for the winter right now while I save for the 6 speed. I have a new power steering gear coming on warranty so that will be fixed in the next week or so.

With christmas il be investing in new front brake discs, the same type DBA rotors but the used ones I got were close to the end of their life and suffered badly from brake fade issues.

Apart from that its just the meth gauge and retune which will come in the spring time. Hopefully a full season of enjoying the car awaits. I still have some paintowrk issues which I would like to address but thats not a priority right now.

I am also very busy with the Subaru owners club I help run and we have a rally event coming up this weekend which should be epic!

Good to hear on the steering gear! Is it the stock rack or STI?

The rotors are Wilwood not DBA, they came with the brake kit. They are 2 piece rotors so you can buy the replacement rotor disc from Wilwood and of course re-use the top hats. i had them turned just once. did they warp some from the heat?

Good stuff on the SOC event! Keep us posted!
