Didn't get a whole lot of photos... that parking lot wasn't a very good shooting location.

Were one of you guys in a dgm hatch at Starr Hill Brewery yesterday? License plate has something with boost in it I believe. The wife and I saw you pull in as we were walking in, I think you filled up a growler and left.

So Browns is awesome. Just went in for a synthetic oil change, tire rotation and state inspection. Well they got backed up and it took 2 hours...i was a little irritated, but thought whatever no biggie. Well when the car was done and I went to pay they charged me nothing! I guess the commercials are legit...you will love the service! Haha.

Brown was an absolute ripoff factory when I was luging there.

I hope they've turned around. I've heard quite a few stories of techs putting non-synthetic oil in leased turbo vehicles.

I hope so too. I had them do the fuel line recall on my old bugeye about 5 years ago and I wasn't impressed with their work.

That might be the only positive review I've read or heard about Brown's in all my years of gearheaded Charlottesville-ness. But kudos to them for the freebie.

^ Look at that, I didn't go off on a Brown's tangent--I'm almost proud of myself.

Well, maybe they have turned things around. And hopefully they've gotten more reasonable with their parts prices. After having them charge me $58 for a cabin air filter and a bottle of touch-up paint a few years back, I swore I'd never go back there.

That is a tad bit away, even though it would be fun!

Taking your words to heart about Cville planning the next meetup. I have a few wild ideas about a Spring central Virginia meet at G-Force in Richmond -- an event where we would be close enough to invite the VA Beach/Norfolk/Williamsburg crowd and would possibly get a few down from NOVA if we built it up a bit. Just food for thought for now

Reached out to a friend in VA Beach area, looks like they would be down, we'd have to just find a good date with good weather
