Default more trouble with cops or other drivers?

Do you seem to have more problems from authority or from random asshats on the road? Personally, iv never even been pulled over in my wrx. Iv passed a few cops doing well over the speed limit and the most iv got is a blip of their spotlight. Other drivers, however, make me wish I was in a different car sometimes. Trucks, streetbikes, other cars are always jacking off when I'm around. Iv been followed by bikes that have swerved at me and cars that get in front of me trying to slow me down, just to swerve into the other lane and try to race once they got me at a slow roll. I see most people complaining about attention from cops, but is that really what the majority of you are bothered by?

Other than my red mudflaps and a couple of shifter and suspension upgrades, it's basically a stock car. I would say I drive just as fast with this car as I did my 2009 Legacy 2.5i. I've had one Hyundai Genesis driver rev at me for a race and some early 2000s Mustang that pulled up behind me and started revving his V6 . One of my friends just thinks it's a wagon that sits really low and pulls hard, which is really the look and feel I'm going for anyway.

None of the above. I've got lots of mods including exterior mods and bright orange wheels. Every now and then a car will pull up next to me and slow to my speed, I'll look over (thinking they may want to race) and they will give me the thumbs up or wave and then go on their way.

I just get in my car and drive places. Nothing eventful happens. No drama at all. Is something supposed to happen?

It seems like I can't even drive to the next town without some guy trying to pull some ****. It's just kinda frustrating at this point. Car is stock-looking except for my catback and mudflaps. Iv had people follow me so far that when we stop at a light, I have to roll the window down and tell them I'm just trying to get home/to work. Most of them just smirk and speed off the light when it turns. Maybe its just my area, but sometimes I don't even get to enjoy the drive cause I gotta deal with all the idiots

The only conversations I've had with the police car related have been receiving complements for not driving like an ******* and keeping a good driving record.

On the other hand, I can't go literally anywhere, not even down the street with out becoming towards other drivers.

The only problems I've had are getting tickets when I was clearly speeding well over the limit (in my WRX).
Otherwise, (in the WRX) I get waves from 50% of Subarus with hood scoops (nobody seems to notice me in the BRZ however).
Nobody tries to race me.
But I usually avoid eye contact with anyone in a different brand car that looks like an enthusiast (i.e. lowered, stickered, tinted, loud exhaust, HID's, booming subwoofers).
My WRX isn't super flashy though, so maybe if I tried harder in that area I would get more attention, haha.

Bikes that swerve at you? Really? Really? If that is actually happening, the bike rider has a death wish. I'd be on the phone with the state police if that happened to me with the rider's plate # and my location in seconds.

In the STI ( WRB sedan ) since I have had it, I have been flashed by the Constable and pulled over by HPD - this is all in the break-in period. This car is much more visible than my Volvo 850R. My wife says that the STI broadcasts "Pull me over, no one notices me in the 850R as it blends in."

Learning to drive much closer to the posted speed limit.

I do not see many WRX/ STI on the road in my daily travels.

Most attention I receive is positive regard for the ol wrx. Every now and then you get the ricers but even in my area they drive normal.

Other than diesels trying to race me on occasion and causing chaos on the road around me as a result, nothing usually happens. A lot of V6/4 cylinders "muscle" cars around here that like to cause ****, though.

I still don't understand why people let others revving at them and all "ruin their drive". That's just silly and plain immature.

Not a week goes by where someone doesn't cut me off, throw something out the window at me on the freeway, flip me off for no reason, or mad dog me. I don't get it. I don't drive like a dick. I don't cut people off. For some reason ever since I got the sti I deal with haters at least once a week. I drove a wrx with the same color for nearly 6 years and had only a couple issues the entire time. Now with the sti its all the time.

Most cops that I am driving in the vicinity of bother me. It seems that a greater percentage of cops drive like complete asshats than the rest of the population. Speeding without their lights on, tailgating like mad, cutting corners of back roads on blind turns...it goes on. A couple years back I was in a college campus, and THREE police cars-1 statie, 2 campus police-cut off traffic pulling into a 4-way intersection out of turn. They were pulling out of the minor road, and crossing the heavily trafficked state highway. No lights or sirens or any warning. They gunned it across the intersection and up the hill, quickly doubling the posted 25mph speed limit. Those ****ers love their new Dodge Chargers.

Can't really say I've had much bother with the cops, apart from getting busted speeding once

I've run into a couple of diesel trucks that think there big and fast, never really let it bother me though.

I think the wingless trunk does me some good. Although the car is fairly stock looking. Just lowered, rims, wingless and stage 2.

When the WRX was a few years old (in the states) the same thing happened to me. They could not get over the look of the car. They thought I put the hood scoop on. I drove like a normal person, but the stupid reactions persisted.

The police are terrible at driving like the rest of us, even when there is nothing going on.

First night I had my WRX a guy and his girlfriend in his lifted Ford V10 Triton revved the hell out of his truck next to me at a stoplight. As soon as the light turned green he launches it. Struggling to make it to the speed limit. I quickly pass him accelerating to 60.

I know better than to 'skreet race', I just can't stand douche bags.

I get tons of unwanted attention. Like my school's resource officer directing traffic at the end of the day. He stared at my car as I went by and continued to stare. Don't know if he was admiring it or...
