Just got my 55-300mm lens. Will go play with it tomorrow.

I also got a cheap .35x Opteka Wide Angle Lens with a hood to give that a stab and see how it turns out. It says it is DSLR quality but we will find out tomorrow. Has anyone had any experience with the Opteka? I've used Opteka's Death Lens on a Sony VX2100 camcorder and I loved it so hopefully the quality of this lens provides the same satisfaction.

I sort of like how this one turned out and the lens flare:

Maybe would be better, for the first images, if you were at a lower level. The angle of the car vs. the uneven horizon makes it look awkward. You want to keep your horizon level across the photo. The last picture is better composed but I think you could have done better with a 3/4 angle of the car rather than a mostly side profile.

The lens flare takes away from the picture. The GC8 should also be facing the sun to provide more symmetry IMO. Other than that, wouldn't be a bad picture.

Besides the flare. No compositions at all. Get cars tighter and "pose " them better.

Great location and perfect exposure.

Havent posted a picture in a long time due to me selling almost all my camera gear for school but here's one of my favorites from when I took this in early 2011..

B&W HDR. Only processing was HDR. Hope you guys enjoy it as much as I did.lol

Also another favorite though the composition on this sucked.

HDR is bull****. Its played out like the dragan effect Get your exposure right in camera and you won't need to use HDR filters.

Where did the power lines go in the sti shot?

You cannot get your "exposure" right for how your eye sees the scene....Have you even looked up why people do HDR?
