Blouch Turbo 08+ Turbo's

Could be a repost, but looks like Blouch is releasing some new turbo's for the LGT layout guys:

for the price I would just go with a normal style type turbo.......

^If you have FMIC sure, you'd be crazy to get a flanged turbo like these..... Even if I can sell my Perrin top mount for $400 I'm still shelling out 500+ for a decent FMIC, which is more than the upcharge for the lgt layout flange on the turbo...

Now whether or not a tmic is big enough to handle the larger turbo, is another question altogether.

I'm also in the "why would you bother" camp. IMO blouch shot themselves in the foot with the pricing on these. $200 premium for a flanged turbo? com'on... I'd say just go with a PW TMIC with the the hotside hose or just go FMIC and then choose any turbo you want. Or if you really want to stay stock fitment/stock location look at BNR. They are proven and much cheaper.

Don't get me wrong blouch is a great company and makes awesome products but kind of left a sour taste in my mouth when they made that vendor announcement back in the spring about the then soon to release flanged turbo's with what would have been awesome introductory pricing only to have that announcement thread deleted and come up with different pricing.

Well I have a buddy who said he can get me one for relatively cheap, so I couldn't resist. Gonna go ahead and see how these things run, I'll keep everyone up on it. I will be able to post up some pictures tomorrow after I get it.

You ever pick one of these up? Can your buddy hook me up?

Might pick up a 480XT. These appear to be the best turbo for LGT fitment. Been looking at AMR and Tomioka as well, but there isn't much info out there on these, whereas Blouch has proven themselves with their turbos (just not their customer service, lol).
