I'm looking for a adapter plate for a subaru to GM trans. I've tried various search terms on google and have not found any good results

Or any other RWD Auto trans that won't cost a arm in and a leg to hold 400whp

Also try www.v-eight.com. If you can supply some dimensions ed could draw it up for you ready to give to machinist.

What's makes you say the auto wont? Plenty of people have them and they work fine. Plenty of supercharged ez30/36's make more torque and do it on stock autos.
Doubt you'll find something off the shelf, hence speak to Ed on that site and it can be drawn. |

I've been looking for the past 5 months for a solution, I'm so tired of breaking transmissions.
I'm looking into having a part fabbed, if anyone is interested in a similar adapter plate pm me... 400$ for a gearbox that can hold 800hp. |

unless you have that th400 beefed up it will not hold anywhere near 800hp.. I've owned many chevy's before coming to Subaru and I know it's just not possible without building the trans...

have you considered an sti 6spd with a rwd spool? they hold 500+whp on awd i would imagine that you would be just fine with only rwd loads on it. also you won't need any adapter plate made.
i understand you want an automatic transmission though. if you are firmly set on that, make some measurments and take those to a machine shop they should be able to CNC a piece for you. you can make sheet metal templates or something to draw measurements from. A dodge 727 can be built to handle that kind of power for cheap. And those trannies are probably more plentiful
