The dealership managed to program the immobilizer chip to work with the wrx?

I answered this question already a couple pages back. Yes you can get the immobilizer programmed and also the lock/unlock module. You are not programming the immobilizer you are programming the car to recognized the new immobilizer.

I just took my new purchased legacy key in and had them cut and program it for my car.

Awesome news about the immobilizer. I'm going to hunt down a dealer that will program the new immobilizer from the Legacy key!

Sorry still waiting on them. I think the holiday slowed things down a bit.

Hi Ben,

Just checking. I sent you another personal email as I paid you via PayPal on December 19th for 2 non-laser cut flip keys, and haven't received anything yet, nor a shipment notification. Our last communication via private email was on the 20th saying these will be shipping soon. Is there a problem?

Wow, contacted me 4 ways! Sorry for the lack of communication. I must have forgotten to e-mail you when they shipped out. I usually ship within about 1 week. Yours went out on the 26th so you should receive them very soon. I'll reply to the other messages as well.

Xluben, I am interested in a flip shell and 2011 Legacy FOB to do this mod for a 2011 WRX, would you PM me your e-mail address? I tried to use the link in the first post to email you via NASIOC but I don't have 10 posts so it won't let me email you

If you don't want to entrust me with your email address, I won't take it personally, and I guess I'll take a gamble with eBay

Check your messages, you may have missed mine. (Or I'm being too impatient ).

I'm looking for a legacy key with laser cut blank for 2013 wrx, and a flip key shell.

New member here on NASIOC. I'm a member over at Legacygt and saw the 09 flip key thread, brought me here. Since I'm a new member, need 10 posts to email you through the site. Not about to post useless replies, any other way to contact you?
