Hi guys,
I couldn't find anything about this and I even contacted the dealer and they seem to be dumbfounded by this - so hopefully you awesome techs on NASIOC can help.. Anyhow, I recently replaced the valve cover gasket because it was leaking... but now, it's still leaking around the seal and we followed the replacement guide. More recently, I installed my exhaust and wanted to check the PCV valve while I had everything torn apart... We pulled it out and it was hollow- you could see right through it. It was like there was no valve in there. So, a couple of questions regarding this: 1) Why the hell would the PCV valve be hollow (benefits? problems?) 2) Would this be causing more pressure causing my valve cover gaskets to continue to leak? Thanks! |
