Had to reset the ECU last night because of a cel, throttle response always suffers for a day or two after that. Another snow storm, gf snapped a vid of me coming back into the driveway after the plow passed.

Thanks! Yeah they always close that section of the park during the winter. It would be a pretty fun area to mess around in if it remained open.

We have the same brakes as all 08+Wrx minus the front rotor size difference (assuming you have discs all around). The fronts on the Wrx/2.5i are 2pot and rears are single pot setup. 06/07 Wrx have the 4/2pot setup, thus the physical and visual difference.

Just to be clear, the 4/2 pot brakes off the '06 and '07 WRX are not a significant upgrade from the current 2/1 pot brakes. The pads are the same size and produce the same friction/braking power. I have no problem with that, if I just wanted the fronts, rears someday, would I need a bracket to mount them? And then I would just get a 06/07 wrx rotor? And that's all she wrote? I hope.

Bracket for the rear. The front bracket is built into the caliper. And you would need the bigger rotor yes.

But with what you have now. You can get the same bigger rotor, a WRX bracket and you would have the same stopping power as the 4 pots.

Ok so the bracket is just to clear the extra .7" of the larger wrx rotor. But the caliper is the same. I'm going to start looking for the 4 pot fronts.

I'm doing this just for the look of the calipers, I don't speed, stop hard, track or anything. Just need to clean up the look.

A few guys have them and say that and a rear sway-bar is the best bang-for-your-buck mod out there

I had my brace for over 6 months before new pads and the difference is night and day. You start braking immediately after pressing the pedal instead of pressing it a 1/4 of the way in before anything happens.

If you lIke a responsive, tight pedal feel get the brace. If you like the stock slush, don't get it.

I have one more question. Whoever has the rallisport UEL headers, did you have to heat wrap it or is the ceramic coating good enough for the heat?

I have the ceramic coating, I got that to make the life of the header last and to stop cel's. cel's started after 5or6 months. Not sure if that's the cold of Canadian winters or what. Next time I head to America I hope to get that code tuned out. I went coating over wrap because of corrosion from the wrap getting wet and rusting out my header. Deff get something though, save your investment and all, black looks sick too.

Thanks for the info and yes that header looks mean. Can you get a sound clip of it? Also, what kind of exhaust are you running?

Magnaflow 2.5" cb, single exit for the hatch. I'll take a more traditional clip tomorrow with a cold start, worm and rev. Next door neighbor is old and retired, she's put up with enough noise from me after hours haha.

Very true as well. If anything, people have mentioned slightly better pedal feel as well. Also I recall seeing that the overall surface area of the pistons is less to our current setup. Thanks for chiming in.
