Default Anyone with good pics of how the vf39 heat shield attaches?

As the title says, bought a used heat shield but since I didn't take it off I don't know how it goes on. I checked google images to no avail.

Yeah, as long as you get 3 bolts in you'll be fine. If it rattles find more attachment points.

d00000000000d...there are 8 or 9 threads on the top page of this forum that do NOT belong here and YOU have posted 2 of them.

this is a 'general' forum....full of idiots and f00ls who know nothing...... for the most part

when you have any sort of TECHNICAL question...find the proper TECHNICAL forum to post in and post there....NOT here

and ya likely get better results

some of these peeps have been nice here...

Any time Uncle Scotty posts in a forum and complains of it being full of idiots he proves that point beyond a shadow of a doubt.

Sorry, but to newer people like myself, the differentiation here is a bit obscure. I'll try to stay in the right forum.

"some of these peeps have been nice here…"

and I thanked them. I also left alone the comments that essentially implied "figure it out" I'll pay more attention to my posting as you suggest.

A couple of minutes?!?! You've been here since 2002. You didn't pick up any "direction" in those 10+ years? C'mon now, I laugh at your posts all the time as I find them funny but stop acting like your @#$% don't stink. I'm sure if we were to scour the early days of your posts they weren't perfect.

Personally, I believe he's right. General has turned into little more than "OT lite" these days. ....mostly crap. IMO, its not a matter of the OP littering the General forum but that he would be better off asking (and/or researching) a question like this in the appropriate Tech forum where he is likely to get more/better responses.

In either case, it appears the OP found his answer by searching. ....I wont comment further on that.
