30 here. On my 3rd Subie, 2013 STI limited. Previously had a 2013 BRZ and a 2005 WRX before that. I tried to grow up and get an Audi or something, it didn't work.

What did you not like about the BRZ?

Does a Forester XT count I've also owned a slew of Imprezas, WRXs, and STi. Just needed something a tad bigger to romp around in.

Yeah I love my 13 wrx, but I'm power hungry.. I can barely drive my wife's jeep, seems like it's broken due to the lack of power ha.

40 here and just picked up my '13 WRX hatch a couple of weeks ago. It's somewhat quicker than the Outback I had for the previous 11 years.

Love it, but I do miss the way Honda/Acura manual transmissions shift.

Are any of you stage 2 in your 09+ wrxs/stis? If bot Wowza.... Kinda scary. I came from an 08 wrx stage 2 and stage 2 in my 2013 wrx is a world of difference.

I don't know if it's because the Hondas are fwd, but my M3, wrangler, and Subaru were all manual and all shifted like **** compared to Hondas. So clunky

its not the fwd, try shifting an s2000

I don't really mind the rubbery subaru shift feel..at least its not that bad with the oem short shifter and bushings. I used to miss gears more in my rsx

Yea the Rsx trannies were known for that, and breaking 2nd or 3rd gear synchros. I had a couple of k20 swapped civics. The Rsx shifts like butter but its easy to Miss gears or misshift

36. I have a '93 SS w/22T. Not a wrx I know. But it is pretty sporty and gets faster and faster as the mods come. Total sleeper and $30/month insurance! Gave it to my wife and she loves driving it to the elementary school.

I also have a spare 22T. I want to do a stroker build and drop it in my '95 BK wagon. Keeping my eye out for a wrecked wrx for the other bits.

We're both teachers so an STi or new wrx is too much for us. Plus I like the old school subies.

the dealer rebuilt my tranny for no reason once(I had an axle problem) so I had them install a clutch and flywheel, but they didn't adjust the clutch pedal travel..and I just thought the tranny was being tight because it was rebuilt and I totally exploded 2nd gear..lol it was just gone. Then I got it back and it was still tight into 2nd so I figured out the problem, adjusted the clutch pedal and it was fine. Aside from things that weren't really the cars fault, 2nd did feel a bit notchy sometimes and 3rd would pop out.
