Earlier this month. My car wasn't even a month old lol.

Winterforces and rally armor fitted. After doing some reading here and on DI, I think I may ditch the steelies for some alloys for RX duty.

Oh and just got back from the spot pictured above. Winterforces and mud = awesomeness.

Awesome, but I would hope you would want get your car dirty within a month of owning it. This was 27 miles and less then an hour after I picked up my car!

This was probably answered already. Im thinking of installing 2012 forester struts on my 13 wrx. Can anyone tell me how much lift it gives? Going to use the group n wrx top hats and stock wrx springs.

Definitely makes me smile after I get off I-95 traffic hell every day. The hardest part is not going too ridiculously fast.

I don't know that anyone has actually done it yet. At least not that I'm aware of. We've not done it yet here. You could put the two side by side and see what the difference in the height of the spring perch is, probably give you a rough idea.

There aren't any rubber group N mounts for the 08+ chassis Impreza's. They homologated solid metal top mounts in 08 on the n14+ cars Will run you about $1200 for the set.

I guess they kept destroying rubber mounts much too quickly. The rubber mounts on the 09+ wrx or STi are much firmer out of the box anyway. Not quite as big a concern as it was on previous gen cars.

Just wondering but how does your guys paint hold up through all the rocks/dirt that flies up. I always think twice before playing in the dirt, and end up P****ing out lol

Subaru paint is pretty bad.....under "normal" driving my hood looked like it got shot by a shotgun after less than a year. At first it irritated me....but it does make going off road easier, haha.

Took the car off the trailer to play on some fun roads here in Tucson. This car is ridiculous on dirt, I def need the DCCD working. It feels like a rwd car. Super fun, I was smiling and giggling like a school girl.

I can't wait to put on some forester struts and springs with some beefier tires. That will come in time.

Can't wait to install my WRX springs, previous owner lowered my ride on eibachs... Which, for any car in alberta, is very impractiacl. For a Subaru, even less practical...It WILL be my mountain machine...soon.

I think you could pull a VSLD from a junk yard cheep, maybe from an LL bean outback, newer forester or even some gen one legacies had them then pull the VLS unit it from it and fit it to the ring gear of your WRX, then you'd have LS and THAT would be an awesome and relatively inexpensive upgrade.
