last time i was in town i had another tune session and we got a lil more power out of the car. we ran into a fueling issue with the meth injection and had to cut short, I want to make it to 400 AWHP. Right now im peaked at 366AWHP. I have a stock EJ207 with a Deadbolt TD06 20G, 7cm exhaust side with a clipped turbine wheel. all supporting mods and FMIC, etc. In your the opinion of the power GURUs on NASIOC, do you think once we getting the fueling issue smoothed out we can make it to my goal?

It would be nice to know what fuel your using? Injector size? Fuel pump? What psi are you at? IDC etc....

Sorry forgot to add that in. I'm running pump 93 with a SMC meth kit. DW850 injectors currently 23 psi targeted. Walbro 255 lph pump. Still running lil rich. Going to lean out some more once I get my AEM methanol injection system installed. Currently the meth nozzle is so large that we are running under 70% IDC if i recall correctly. Didnt see the exact number but my tuner said im using less gas under full boost then any other car hes tunned with a ej207. What else do you need to know?

You running 70/30 or 50/50 on the meth? Honestly I would lean it out a bit and you'll pick up some power. Somewhere in the 11.7 range maybe even a bit higher. I don't think you will hit 400 but you'll deff be closer. Also do you know what your mbt is at wot?

That turbo should do 330 on 93 nd no meth averge hp on 20 psi. You should be able to rise that by 30 hp pretty easy with meth and timing alone on 20 psi. Add another 30 with some more boost and yea, your knocking on 400 on that dyno.
If your spraying to much meth your already killing your numbers on that pull. You could always just throw some more boost on what you have now and keep your fingers crossed ![]() |

Meth and lean it out. Boom 40whp. If you can't get 40whp from adding meth and getting a little more on the tune your failing us. Lol just messing but ya 360whp gas only seems decent for 23.

Sorry for not replying, Got sent out to work and didnt have access to the internet. I bought my AEM HD twin nozzle Meth system. I want to also grab a AEM tru-boost controller to go along with it before installing it and retuning. When everything is installed I'm going to set the scramble mode to 25PSI to get to my 400AWHP, 20-22 PSI for normal fun. and 14.5 PSI on wastegate spring for DD duty.
I'm running a 50/50 meth solution and yes it was targeting around 11.2 We were going to lean out but the meth system started to have issues so we called it early and are going to pick it back up when the new equipment gets installed. @nuke209 Yes the AVCS is being fully utilized. @isca21 What does MBT stand for? I am running the meth now but it's spraying way to much right now. @sumfoo1 I'm using a tial 44mm external wastegate. |

Also, why only low-mid 20's for boost if all you're after is a number? I'm sure with more boost, and leaner AFR's, you could get to the power that you want to achieve, albeit it wouldn't be a tune that you'd want to run every day. |

I do have a question about the ecu though and I was wondering if anyone here had the answer. If we tune for 25 psi and I turn the boost down to 22 or 14 on waste gate the ecu can still run it properly right? Is the EJ207 ecu capable of running in that manner? My friends AEM standalone could do that and I've been told the EJ207 ecu has practically all the features of a standalone. It'd make it a lot nicer if I could get it setup like that. |

I wouldn't try and chase a number, thats how people get in trouble and get greedy. |

If ur going past 22psi get a omni 4bar map sensor, you'll have more resolution and thus will be able to tune safer and more accurately above it.
