Kind of, I guess. The head gasket was shot, just before I was supposed to drive to Lincoln, Nebraska, for the autocross National Championships. Instead, the car got to go to Westminster, MD.

Looks great. Wish I was brave enough to get 20%... I'm too chicken about getting a ticket for it, but looks great.

I'm nervous here in DE even though I'm not a resident, my plates are from here though. I'll probably get 35 to cover my ass and avoid a ticket.

I've been to superior Court once in 2013 already, I don't want to go again.

20% is not that dark. Here in MD the police can not just pull you over for dark tint. Now if your speeding or driving like a douche they can give you a tint ticket too.

State Police? Why say sorry? I guess it depends on what area you are in and if your car is a ricecar or not. lol whoops I mean racecar

I had 20% on the Accord and it wasn't dark. 20% is the only % I would go if I got another car/Subaru re-tinted.

Just go to the optometrist and tell him the sun makes your eyes all squinty, and you need (darker) tint.

If all works out you get a medical waiver for tint, and a little note to the pork choppers telling them you have a waiver when they run your plates.

Well not sure of the exact laws in MD but think of it this way, you more then likely are an upstanding citizen and would never do anything to harm the officer. But before you call him an ass try pulling over somebody at night, maybe not in the best area and walk up to the window and not be able to see in the car. Tint laws are in place for officer safety, and obviously the officer may or may not have known the exact % you had but he knew it was darker then the average one he walks up to.

Moral of the story is run legal tint unless you of course have some sort of medical condition. It's easier on your wallet and gives the officer a peace of mind when approaching your vehicle.

I agree with giving an officer the peace of mind when approaching a vehicle. That's why every time I've been pulled over I lower all my windows and turn on a light to let them know I'm not doing anything illegal lol

I ran 20% on the side windows and 35% on the rear windshield.

I do the same and U would think they would give u the benefit of the doubt for showing some respect, but I've been ordered to put my windows back up so they could measure them in the past...

I agree as well. I understand they don't want homeboys rolling around with limo tint on their cars. But you can see behind 20%. And yes this cop had very large stick up his ass. Pulled me over for nothing tried to find something then gave me repair orders .He even told me if I didn't live on the road I was on that I shouldn't be on it. But all in all I'll be getting 35% in the spring.
