Saw '5BALLS' on a MCB SUV yesterday... I don't have any idea what the reference is.

Here are my two vanity plates.

Originally, the lady at the Ohio state dept of motor vehicles DENIED my plate "STIFTW" because she said it meany "F*%K the World". Funny, I told her it meant "Free the Whales". "FTW" is very amiguous but alas, she wouldn't even budge. Even after 2 phone calls back and forth with her. I gave up to the man. So a few months later I am at Import Face Off and see a Honda Civic with the plate "K20 FTW". I get a bit pissed off, and fire off a nice letter to the director off the Ohio state dept of motor vehicles demanding why my requested plate was denied (since K20FTW was OK) and to show me what the law actually states about aconyms and assigning plates. I also asked that the Honda K20FTW plate be revoked if I couldn't have mine (dick move I know, but Honda Civics suck anyway). I never even expected a reply to be honest, I figured my letter would be lost in the beauracratic red tape shuffle. 3-4 weeks later they wrote me back and basically admitted that the state worker did not even follow the actual law (must be obviously bad aconym to be disqualified and FTW did not meet the criteria) and should have given me the plate that I had requested. She was going by her own personal ideals and not following the letter of the actual law. Clown. 3 days later, another envelope arrived with "STIFTW" and a new registration for my car, all at no charge. LOFOZ is my lowered daily. ANd the Civic gets to keep their plate too. Lol.

Lol I bet some" honda" guys would wreck him on a track. And I'm not talking about 1/4 mile either. Don't let the stereotype civic get to you.

I think u guys are missing the point. Yes his civic comment was malicious but that's beside the point. He essentially beat the system by going above that state worker's head and wrote a letter to the DMV in which they gave him free plates and registration. Kudos to u my friend.

Yes, KUDOS! Alls well that ends well.

Saw DTHTRP on a smartcar

Want 6UL DV8, but I'm sure this would be given the thumbs down by the DMV

I saw a Land Rover Range Rover with the license plates 'GOFAR' many years ago.

Anyways, if you want to infuriate your local environmental community, exaggerate the kind of numbers your car get. For instance, if you have a SVT Raptor, you'd want to get something like '6MPG' or '701GCO2' (701 grams of CO2 per mile).

Plates I was considering for my Subie (later on in the year, that is) are 'TRUSTI' or 'LASOUND' ('La' being 'The' in Spanish; The Sound of the Boxer engine).

Other plates would be:
AZNBENZ (Asians who own a Mercedes-Benz)
ONDALT (On the Left; referring to you passing another car on the right side)
WTHAEVO (What the Heck is an Evo (yes, grammatically incorrect, but clever, nonetheless))
GOBRAKE (Concept is that if they see your license plates, they should just brake because they're going to lose anyways)
DEMFEEL (How does it feel to lose)
4DRS or 5DRS(4 Door Sedan, 5-Door Hatchback; a statement you can make when a Camaro SS loses to you)
ROAHHHH (Sound of a Boxer engine)
4CYL (Another statement you can make when a Camaro SS loses to you)

Nope. We have a local guy from Korea and when you upgrade or mod your Subaru he calls it "stacking bricks." Kind of an inside joke around here....

Who can stack the biggest pile of bricks...
