New clutch needed soon.

My clutch isnt completely gone yet but im thinking of replacing it now. Any recommendations? Possibly a shop that I can save a couple dollars?

There are no shops that can replace a clutch in the NESIC region. None.

Step 1) Call local shops and ask for price
Step 2) Review prices and choose lowest one
Step 3) Call remaining shops and see if they can do it for that low low price.
Step 4) ?
Step 5) Profit.

Bet you're wishing you sold that STi now, huh?

Hahah well you know some are less expensive then others, but I sincerely appreciate the sarcasm.

Naw. Well in some cases yes but I refinanced it and saved a ton of money so thats all good and I have purchased a bunch of stuff for it as well so im excited to get it all on and tuned.

My beater is at Wicked now getting a clutch put in. Otherwise on a newer less rusty car like yours read up and do the jub at home in the spring.

Doing it yourself is a good way to save a couple bucks. Took me 8 hrs on jackstands in my garage.

That is certainly a bit o' money to be saved. Hope that his clutch holds out for warmer weather if he doesn't have a garage.

wicked cas in kingston nh put my act 6 puck in when they built my motor. they did a great job.

Scotty's Country Auto in Exeter nh is a Subie expert with reasonable labor rates and great guy with at least 20 yrs wrenching Subies.
