Default Unlocking all 4 doors with remote

2013 sport premium 5 door.

Is there a way to program the car to unlock all doors with one press of the remote?

Current default setting is only unlocking driver door on 1st press then the rest of the doors with a 2nd button press within 3 seconds.

Thanks in advance for any advice!

Happy New Year!

I was kinda hoping for something like this too. A long press of the unlock would be perfect.

Personally fine with the "default setting" method. However, if there were a way to have all doors unlock and the windows lower simultaneously via the remote...

The default setting is for safety, so you can still get into the driver's seat if there is a person nearby that you do not want opening the tailgate or passenger doors.

Every vehicle with keyless entry I have driven operated this way. Just double click the button and go on with life

My VW TDI defaulted to the same behavior as our Imprezas. However, there was an easy way to reconfigure it to unlock all four doors with the first button push on the fob, and I did do that reconfiguration on my VW. I don't know of an easy way to reconfigure our Imprezas, or I'd do the same thing on this car too.

I know what you guys mean. 2 clicks vs 1 is really taxing me.

I personally prefer the way its already programed with one click for the driver's door and two for all four.

The one feature I do miss from my MS6 tho, was the ability to simultaneously put down all the windows with a long press of the unlock button on the remote. That was cool!

Default You can disable the beeping. I have done this . . .

With my 09 Impreza. I contacted a freind who works at a dealership and he first said bring it in, he then just told me how to do it. I will look it up and get back to you, I wrote it down in my owner's manual. I do remember IT WAS VERY SIMPLE TO DO. When done, in a bout a minute, NO MORE BEEPS!

Thanks. I haven't read the OM and my salesman said it couldn't be done...probably time for me to get down to reading for myself.

Too bad the manual doesn't tell you how to program the remote.
