Just to give you an idea of how accurate the Airboy spreadsheet can be if used correctly:
Airboy results: 308/323 Went to a Mustangdyne chassis dyno three days later. My results: 308/323 I posted logs of that Airboy 308/323 run in my thread. Yes, you can cheat with the spreadsheet. The same goes for tuners. They can cheat with their dyno's. Me personally, I probably will never go to a chassis dyno again. I made the Airboy/Trap speed thread for a reason. Once I get to the track, I will post what I made on the Airboy spreadsheet and post my trap speeds. Trap speeds are what really tells you how much you are making. My personal goal is to have a reliable vehicle that will trap 118+. I personally won't be "happy" until that is accomplished.

You guys have ridiculous numbers for a 2.0. Yet mine is on 93, but 330+...good God. I guess trap speeds will tell all though. I'll airboy mine at some point, but I love this turbo and my car hauls ass now from 3700 till redline the torque is a table.

Hey guys I have an 03 WRX and this seems to be the turbo I want, as it seems to be one of the best turbos for the 2.0L. Right now im stage 2 tuned with AP and have a full invidia tbe and k&n short ram. Now its time to do turbo upgrade, and I am looking to making around the 300whp mark, maybe squeeze out a bit more. The only thing is I would like to see if its possible without meth and on just 93. Ive got the supporting mods STi TMIC ( I know a FMIC will squeeze out a bit more--- thats on its way) Warlboro fuel pump, and debating on whether to jump up to the deatschwerks 750cc injectors.
Anyone have any charts with a similar set up over the 300whp mark on 93 without meth, and if possible without a FM set up yet. |

This Turbo is happier in a 2.0. Not impressive at all on the 2.5. Barely outshines the td04.

Compared to a vf39? A worth upgrade? Most people I've heard make 240/260tq Ina td04 and closer to 300/320 on a evo3. A vf is under that around 280/290

A few years back I had an evoIII16g on my 04 wrx it made 312whp/ 285tq. Tuned by Cleo at precision tuning on 93 pump. Loved it!!
